The wings were amazing. Usually get pizza both were immaculate. Definitely recommend.
When you visit Manhattan Pizza, you will know that the owner Ben takes great pride in the pies that he creates. He uses homemade dough and a family recipe sauce to create delicious pies. He has been serving delicious pizza off Charleston for 24 years. I recommend calling in advance to order, because a pizza this good deserves the preparation it takes to create a masterpiece. Ben also offers delicious gyros, salads, garlic fries, and much more.
My favorite pizza place hands down, I love the Hawaiian pizza and Ceasar salad. I can't wait to try more things from their menu.
Wow.. this is one slice of pizza. Perfect for lunch time bite. I highly recommend five stars !!!
This place hit all the spots for my husband and I! We were craving some good take out pizza, pasta and wings. We ordered a 12" pizza with bacon, pepperoni and sausage, an order of fettuccine alfredo with a side salad and vinaigrette dressing, 12 piece garlic parm wings with ranch and a bottle of coke! Came out to about $45, paid online and picked up hot and fresh! It was so easy to order and they made sure to fulfill my request of "lightly cooked" pizza. Okay the alfredo, nothing fancy, just good ole cheesy goodness with perfectly cooked noodles! The side salad, so abundant with tomatoes, olives, pepperoncinis, fresh lettuce and an amazing vinaigrette! The Alfredo came with garlic bread so I put the salad on top of the garlic bread and ate it like a huge crouton! Amazing! Their ranch is so good too! The wings were perfectly crispy and flavorful! The pizza was a cross between a thin crust and a handmade pizza. The perfect medium! This entire order was perfect for the two of us with just about 2 pieces of pizza left over. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be ordering this exact thing all the time! That was some good carryout!
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - we ordered the Pick Up Special of 12"Cheese Pizza-12 Piece Wings for $19.99. The pizza was great! The medium pizza was described to be a "personal" pizza but a generous serving and it filled us up. The bread was soft and fluffy and the cheese/sauce ratio was great! The chicken wings were okay. They were on the more dry side and the seasoning was quite mild. Service: 5/5 - gentleman on the cash register is very friendly and may be the owner of the store. Quoted a 15 minute wait which was fairly accurate. Constant phone calls for to-go orders as there are two phones and he'll be taking orders and picking up the other and asking to be placed on hold. When the phones aren't ringing, he helps make pizza. BUT we noticed he didn't wash his hands between handling change and making the pizza :/ Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. More vintage feel in the shop but clean overall. Value for price: 5/5 - yummy food (would just get pizza in the future), friendly service, and reasonable wait time. Note that they add a 3.8% credit card surcharge.
OMG I'm gunna have to take more pictures which fortunately means I'm going to visit again!!! There's a 24" pizza!!!! I've been here twice and Manhattan Pizza is QUICKLY going up my list of favorites. Great customer service- like literally- family style friendly. I got a go get ale from the refrigerator both times. The pizza has some butter on the crust which was fantastic and I am so happy to be able to order again. Store front is clean with seating for a date night. I watched a bit of football on the TV, and there is pepper and cheese packets in the to go box without asking. There was a family getting ready to eat when I was in tonight, a patron cashing out, and another family coming in the door as I was opening the door for the First Gentlemen. I going to have to visit again so I can get a picture of the menu. I'm salivating- i gotta post this and EAT! Thank You Manhattan Pizza!!!
The pizza here is what made me fall in love, however I've tried several other things like the baked ziti, chicken park, and their salads and have always been satisfied. The owner is usually working, something I think helps the quality of the food remain consistent. There is never usually a long wait and I know everything will be hot and fresh when I get it.
